Every member has a verified profile
Before anyone can book or accept a ride, they must verify their email address, phone number, and a payment method. This means every person on the platform is a real, accountable individual.
Drivers can also complete an optional licence verification — look for the green badge on their profile.
You choose who you travel with
You get to choose which members you decide to travel with, and we do not automatically match you with other members.
Before you decide to travel with another member, you will be able to see the information posted on their profile, including their name, photo, reviews from other members, preferences, cancelation rate and more.
We monitor the activity closely.
Our team keeps a close eye on the activity inside our community and we have automated checks in place to ensure a safe and reliable ridesharing experience for all members.
We have a zero tolerance for any type of abuse, harassment or stalking. We also impose high driving standards and have strict policies against speeding and distracted driving.
Your money is secure
All payments go through our secure online system and we hold funds for 4 days after trip completion so we can handle any disputes or refunds fairly.
Transactions are processed by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment providers available on the internet.
You're covered under standard insurance
Our platform operates under carpooling laws that have existed well before we launched our app, and which allow drivers to fill their empty seats when they are already driving from A to B to cover their costs
Since drivers are not turning a profit and are only covering their costs when using Verdride, they are generally covered under their regular insurance.
